I Want To Help Realtors Win

A Noble Profession

To me Real Estate is a noble profession. Realtors guide us to the American Dream of home ownership. That’s pretty incredible.

A goal of mine is to be in a position where I can help Realtors win in growing their business. I know there are a lot of capacities to do this, but in the end that is what I am really interested in doing. That is why I am creating content geared toward sharing ideas so that you can improve aspects of your business. This is a big reason why my little blog here even exists.

There has been a component of the industry where Realtors and technology clash (yes there are exceptions to that). But having seen it first hand, I see both sides of the coin. Technology is inevitable. Not only is the industry becoming more tech-advanced, but so is the world. And in our society once we start that direction, there is no going back.

Real estate will always be an industry of relationships. When it comes down to it, the technology doesn’t matter. It is a tool to help you achieve the results you aim for, and a tool that can help you do so at scale. As a Realtor you are still in the trenches working with clients, managing inspections, working with lenders and title reps, and so on. It’s a people business through and through. But some of the technology out there can free up more of your time to focus on those relationships.

I was a Realtor for a while, and that experience was invaluable. I loved interacting with my peers, exchanging ideas and sharing the strategies I was experimenting with. This is how I got interested in finding ways I could help other Realtors, and share ideas to grow your brand and business.

What Is A Win?

I get a great deal of gratification if you achieve success with something we discussed and you went and implemented.

For example I have been a big fan of utilizing Twitter’s advanced search function to find prospects to get into your funnel. You can search for phrases (moving to San Francisco), by geography, and more. Looking for tweets about having to move soon, or needing to look for homes in “x town,” can be a profitable practice to incorporate into your prospecting routine. And you know what? It is quick and easy to do!

Another example is utilizing something like IGTV to create a series that is helpful for people learning about your area. You become a hyperlocal expert with the content you make, and show up when people are looking to relocate.

And of course the biggest success factor when I was a Realtor was our team’s website. I was relentless in creating content, pre-saved searches using popular criteria and making it a top-of-the-line resource for buyers and sellers. We were being found when people did google searches, and once landing on our pages they would submit their information in a carefully designed lead magnet. Most of the time they’d become our clients and our business would grow from that transaction and their referrals.

When I help Realtors execute on these strategies their wins feel like wins for me. I feel it just as much and get so excited at the positive success they achieve.

What Are You Doing?

Are you implementing strategies to market your business that are paying off? I’d love to hear about what you’re doing and what’s working!
